Sailor has created brush pens that mimic the colours of their renowned fountain pen inks. The ink colours of these Brush Pens are inspired by the four seasons in Japan. The colours are intended to evoke nature and the ink names translate to things like ‘cold winter’s day’, ‘moonlight on a snowy night’ and ‘campfire on a summer night’. The inks hues are subtly different to most western-style inks.
The Shikiori Brush are double-sided, with a brush pen at one end and a fine nib at the other. The brushes are softer than most marker pens and resemble the feeling of real ink brushes. The inks blend well and can be used for ombre writing.
The Shikiori brush pens are ideal for calligraphy, bullet journaling, art and illustration.

A beautiful pen with some really classy colours. They blend really well for ombre effects. Also, the dual tip is quite useful as one side gives you a really fine line to add detail/flourishes to the brushwork. Highly reccommended!

The pen is juicy and has a great flex. They work perfectly well on the hobonichi as well as stalogy A5s. I got the riku-cha which is supposed to be olive green but is way too brown... I think I'll get the nightingale green next to see if that's closer to the olive green I'm looking. I'll definitely be buying more of these.
