The J.Herbin 1798 ink collection features richly coloured ink infused with sparkling metallic particles. It also features its iconic "1798 "wax seal on the front of the bottle and the engraved J. Herbin logo on the bottom of the bottle. The 1798 collection is named in honor of the year that the Herbin company's shop relocated to Rue des Fosses-Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois in Paris.
The Ural Amethyst colour features a rich purple colour infused with shimmering silver flecks. The name "Amethyste de L'Oural" means the Amethyst from the Ural Mountains. It has a glorious past that the dream-like violet gemstone from the Russian mountains was highly sought-after during the 16th and 17th centuries.
