What is a fountain pen?
A fountain pen contains an internal reservoir of liquid ink. When you write, this reservoir is pulled from the pen, through the nib and onto paper via capillary action. For this reason, fountain pens are sold empty, with the bottled inks inserted manually. The different nibs give you the flexibility of an even or varied line.
