Based on the Al-Star, the Lamy Lx (Luxe) fountain pen is a beautifully stylish aluminium body pen. It retains all the good engineering design that went into the Safari and has been carried over to the AL-Star but with a few extra features.
The heavy clip of the AL-Star has been plated to match the pen body colour. The nib has also been upgraded, with engraving and black high gloss PVD coating designed to improve its durability. The Lx comes with its own cylindrical case of anodised aluminium exactly the same shade as the pen it protects.
The Lx still takes the same Lamy T10 ink cartridges or bottled ink via the Lamy Z28 converter. The window (which allows you to see how much ink you have left) and the contoured black tinted grip have also been retained from the AL-Star. It comes with one Lamy T10 blue ink cartridge.

AustraliaGreat pen, love the distinctive colour. Cap clicks on securely and the clip is great for attaching to a thin shirt or a thick pants pocket. Works well with the Z28 converter, letting you refill your own ink.
