The set comes with a fountain brush pen and three black water-based dye ink refill cartridges. Renowned for their fine nylon bristles, Kuretake brush pens are ideal for producing strokes ranging from broad to extremely thin. Ideal for artists and calligraphers due to its portability, convenience, and top-notch quality of Japanese brush nibs.
Refills for ink cartridges and replacements for brush heads are also available. Ideally, the brush should be used monthly, but if it dries out, you can revive it by soaking the tip in room temperature water overnight. After soaking, refill it with a new ink cartridge.
