Lamy Safari Fountain Pens
Designed by Wolfgang Fabian in the eighties, the Lamy Safari fountain pen is a timeless design in fountain pen history. Its modern design and robustness have made it the world's most popular fountain pen. With a lightweight, durable body, ergonomic grip and smooth stainless-steel nib, it is the best companion for the everyday writer.
The history of the iconic Safari fountain pen
The Safari fountain pen is designed by industrial designer Woflgang Fabian in 1980. This series is initially launched for students/young writers. Its concise design language makes sure it delivers all functions without any unnecessary decorations. The simplicity makes it timeless, and today it has an iconic lifestyle product around the world.
Modern and sturdy pen boy
Made from ABS plastic, the pen body is lightweight and robust. It features an ergonomic grip to ensure a comfortable writing experience. The recessed grip allows the pen body to be held with a 'tripod pen grip'. The body also features an ink window, showing how much ink is left in the cartridge. The chrome-plated spring metal clip on its cap is easy to attach to pockets or notebooks.
Replaceable stainless-steel nib
Unlike many other fountain pens on the market, the Lamy Safari fountain pen has an interchangeable nib, making it fit different writing needs.
Refillable with T10 ink cartridge and Z28 ink converter
The Safari fountain pen can be refilled with the Lamy T10 cartridge, making it convenient to refill when travelling. The fountain pen is also compatible with the Lamy Z28 ink converter. Please note each Safari fountain pen comes with a Lamy T10 blue ink cartridge. However, the Z28 ink converter is sold separately.
Numerous colours to fit your lifestyle
The Safari features a matte body version - Charcoal Black, a transparent body version – Vista, and multiple colours on glossy body versions. Lamy also launches new limited edition colours every year. You can always find your favourite colours in the Safari series.
