Stable writing feel with reduced writing shock
While maintaining Kuru Toga’s signature rotating lead mechanism, this model incorporates two features to enhance writing stability.

What is Kuru Toga?
A mechanical pencil that rotates the lead slightly every time you write, keeping it consistently sharp for fine, clean lines.

Because the lead tip stays sharp, you can continue writing fine, precise lines.
It also reduces lead dust, helping keep the paper clean.

This model features an improved Kuru Toga Engine (also used in the KS model), designed to reduce tip movement during writing.
You can visually confirm the lead rotation through the window in the center of the barrel, where the color changes:
(White → Orange → White → …)

In addition to the improved Kuru Toga Engine, a resin “nib damper” is built into the tip to absorb writing impact.

This further reduces tip movement and provides a smoother, more stable writing experience.
