The Midori 2023 pocket diary is recommended for those who want to write a lot of schedules and notes. It has a convenient index on the right-hand side. Each month, after the monthly block page, has the part of 1-week spreads (memo on the right side).
The Clover theme diary features a cover with gold-foiled clover logo that shines brightly. The combination of the four-leaf clover, which is widely known as a symbol of good luck, and the lucky motif, which changes every month, makes every day a little bit happier.
The “Clover Pattern” illustrations renewed from the 2021 edition are drawn by Aya Naito, an illustrator who expresses seasonal plants and animals with a warm and bright hand-drawn touch. The ruled lines are also in a natural handwritten style, making it a diary with a gentle atmosphere.
Lucky motifs change every month. There are 12 types of “lucky motifs”, and new motifs appear every year. In the 2023 edition, fawns, swallows, and bees will appear for the first time. The meaning of each motif is listed on the page of the door.
On the 1-week spread, the left page shows the schedule for the week, and the right page can hold a lot of notes. The full-colour text, which has a different design on each page, is fun and exciting to flip through, and you can use it for a year without getting bored.
