Midori MD Notebook Cover - Goat Leather - A5
Available for &
This is the best match for your Midori MD notebook. It is made from a single piece of vegetable-tanned goat leather. It will develop a unique patina on the cover as time goes by. The cover has not been dyed or coloured to keep the natural colour and texture of the leather.
This is a cover only. For the notebook refills, please go to Midori MD Notebook.
- Goat leather will develop a unique patina with use.
- Pen loop that can be tucked away when not in use.

Gorgeous product and an exercise in embracing life
Soft leather and fits my Stalogy A5 well - I was surprised that two card slots (1 x Front , 1 x Back) was all I needed, especially after using a Galen Zippered Portfolio for so long! I managed to get a bit of food on the cover within a week of owning it (hehe) and surprising myself again, was able to get over the stain and embrace it just as quickly :) The only feature I'm struggling with is the pen loop - it is a snug fit for my Decimo and I worry about ripping it whenever I use the loop. Hopefully, the leather will stretch over time, otherwise I might need to clip into the loop (which is a little flimsy) or find another way of conveniently storing my go to FPs. I'd imagine slimmer barrelled pens would have no issue though!
A well crafted piece of work. I'm watching it reach that 'Wabi Sabi" aged tan via exposure to direct sunlight. It fits, obviously, the corresponding Midori notebook; the fairly tight pen loop accommodates the Midori fountain pen, Travelers Company brass pen, and Kaweco Lilliput. Some larger pens might not fit. I'm not sure about the 'one piece of leather'; there are 4 panels very well stitched, but from the same part of the hide. It seems less 'rustic' and better finished, if less versatile, than that other well known leather notebook binder. A chacun son/sa gout
Love it, I received it on accident, I had ordered a notebook bag. But this was so nice I had to keep it. It's currently holding a Nanami Seven Seas well, the leather is gorgeous and soft, supple but strong. It's lovely to hold and carry, I find myself holding it regularly. I'm looking forward to see the leather age!
So far so good. The leather is thinner that I expected, but it is still good quality and I am glad I purchased the item.
