The Pilot Parallel Pen features a nib with two parallel plates. It is the key point for writers to create sharper lines than existing calligraphy pens. Ideal for flat pen calligraphy.
You can also use two Parallel pens to create blended colour lines by holding the pens vertically and touching one nib to the other nib. The colour from the top pen will be transferred to the bottom pen. The blending result will depend on how long you hold the pens together.
If you would like to add extra ink splatter effects, hold the pen firmly and then tap the barrel to release the drop of ink for ink splatters.
6 nib widths are available for Pilot Parallel pens: 1.5 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.8 mm, 4.5 mm and 6.0 mm. Every Pilot Parallel Pen set includes:
