Uni Nano Dia Colour Lead - 0.5 mm

I didn't realise you could get coloured mechanical pencil leads and I wanted to mark up my reading material without highlighters. I ordered 3 different colours and loaded them into 3 matching coloured Kuru Toga mechanical pencils and am so happy! The leads write smoothly and deposit a good line with vibrant colours. Pressing harder gives a more vibrant text. Erasible with standard eraser. I'm so happy to have discovered these coloured 0.5mm leads and will definitely be using them henceforth.

This product may not be necessary for your needs.

This product has some limitations. It is brittle and prone to breakage inside your pencil causing blockage, it also half erases and is completely visible when erased with a normal eraser, and it smudges easily. Additionally, its primary use is for artistic purposes, and it may not be necessary for other applications. In image other colours from lavander they're pen not the lead

Great colour and strong leads.

These are great. I originally got the multiple colours but found it hard to work out which colour is which. Good for fine colour.

I'd like to try the

I'd like to try the Nano Dia Color leads in 0.7mm. The 0.5 red is not very bold. It writes like a very fine felt tip marker and appears a bit feint . The green is better though but not a lot. I guess the problem is that making the colour more "dense" would make the leads more prone to breakage.
