Brand Story－Sailor

Sailor is founded in 1911, which is the first Company specialized in fountain pen. The founder hopes the product can be sold oversea like the sailor on ship. In that way, Sailor became the name of the company.

The first fountain pen, rollerball pen and liquid type direct brush pen. The first highlighter is invented by SAILOR in 1989. The special metal named after 21K is the unique metal founded by SAILOR. The metal shows the features of flexibility and standing of corrosion. The unique shape of the nib is from the design of Nagahara who is named after “The god of fountain pen”. SAILOR is the expert of producing fountain pens.
