The Pentel Graph 1000 is a premier mechanical pencil designed for drafting professionals. Its long, slim sleeve gives it precision when running along the edge of rulers and templates and allows you a view of what you’re drawing. An all-brass three-jaw clutch mechanism provides exceptional lead support. Each click of the top-knock button extends a length of lead equal to the diameter of the lead.
Specially-weighted to bring its centre of gravity close to the writing tip, the Graph 1000’s cylindrical body is comfortable to write with. The rubber-insert grip further enhances writing comfort.
The Graph 1000 also features a removable metal pocket clip, a replaceable eraser under the cap, and lead grade indicator in the push-button. It is ideal for professional drafting and for sketching, drawing, and everyday writing.

AustraliaAt first glance this pencil appears to be a slimmer, plastic version of the metal GraphGear 1000, for around the same price. However, the addition of "for Pro" to its name suggests that it is designed for much more precise use than its heavier and chunkier metal stablemate. This is a light, quite slim pencil with a comfortable rubber finger grip. I found it a delightful pencil to use and a worthy addition to any mechanical pencil stable. My only criticism is that the lead-grade indicator in the cap (a good idea) is biased to H grade leads, with only one B label.
